Mr. Imtiaz Ali

Imtiaz Ali has directed nine full feature films and has amassed to his credit the reputation of being one of India’s most respected and admired filmmakers.  His notable works include, Jab We Met, Highway, Tamasha and Rockstar. Born in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, his  father was a farmer.  Imtiaz is deeply motivated to work with communities in rural areas.  His film work has shown different parts of the country with focus on landscapes and real people and stories.   He connects with the mission of ensuring clean water and sanitation services for all.
